Associate Degree Curriculum
A minimum of 60 credits is required for the Associate Degree in General Business. In addition to the required courses, the major offers students the flexibility to choose courses of interest in the natural sciences, arts, and humanities.
Required courses include: Rhetoric and Composition; Effective Speech; Effective Writing (Business Writing); Principles of Programming with Business Applications; Introduction to Business Information Systems; Management Science and Information Systems; Financial and Managerial Accounting for Decision Makers; Social, Legal, and Ethical Environments of Business; Introduction to Microeconomics; Principles of Macroeconomics; and college-level algebra.
