To-Degree Admission

To-degree admission is available to a student who has earned a minimum 2.00 overall Penn State grade-point average after completing either 9 credits (for admission into an associate degree program) or 18 credits (for admission into a baccalaureate degree program).

Additionally, a student must meet the entrance requirements of the college of enrollment. Some colleges and majors may require a grade-point average higher than a 2.00 or have additional course requirements that must be completed to move to degree status.

A student wishing to move to degree status also must submit the undergraduate admissions application.  If not previously submitted, official high school transcripts, and if applicable, GED score report copies and official post-secondary school transcripts, must be submitted as well.
