Behrend Senior Class Gifts: Leaving a Legacy Behind

Penn State Behrend started the tradition of leaving a legacy and improving the college in some way with the Class of 2002. And at Penn State, almost every graduating class since 1861 made a memorable gift to the University.
Since 2002, graduating Behrend seniors have generously given to these lasting gifts:

  • Class of 2002: Flagpole and plaque memorializing two Behrend alumni who were victims of the 9/11 tragedy.
  • Class of 2003 and Class of 2004: Behrend Lion Shrine and Lion Plaza
  • Class of 2005: Benches outside of the Reed Union Building and Senat Hall
  • Class of 2006: Crabapple Trees at Behrend’s Entrance
  • Class of 2007 and Class of 2008: Smith Chapel Meditation Garden and Seating
  • Class of 2009: Reed Lounge Renovations - DONATE NOW

Leave you legacy. Make your donation to the 2009 Class Gift.

Be a part of the tradition: Current students can join the Senior Class Gift Committee to help in the planning of what the next gift will be. Contact Kristen Comstock, assistant director of alumni relations, for more information.
