Bailey Honored as AMCC Runner of the Week (10/07/05)
Jenny Bailey (Corry/Corry) has been named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate
Conference (AMCC) runner of the week. Bailey finished sixth out of 108
runners this past weekend at the
Harry Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College. She
finished the 5K course with a time of 19:58.
The freshman has enjoyed a spectacular first season with the blue and white. Bailey has been the top finisher for the women’s cross country team in all five meets of the 2005 season.
The Behrend Lions next compete at the AMCC Championships hosted by Pitt-Greensburg on October 29 at Westmoreland County Fairgrounds.
