Katie VanEpps Named Enterprise RENT-A-CAR Athlete of the Week
Penn
State Behrend sophomore Katie VanEpps (Pleasantville/Titusville) was named
the Enterprise RENT-A-CAR athlete of the week for the week of February 16,
2009.
VanEpps would have a strong showing
at the 2009 AMCC swimming and diving championships. She would win the
200 yard butterfly and placed second in the 200 and 400 IM with times of
2:24.02, 2:24.31, and 5:03.81 respectively.
The
Behrend Lions women's swimming and diving team continued its
domination of the AMCC by winning its third championship in three years.

The blue and white will be back in the pool when they travel to the ECAC championships held in Boston, Massachusetts on February 28-March 1. The NCAA tournament will be held on March 12-14 for the women and March 19-20 for the men.
