Hobaugh Named AMCC Tennis Player of the Week

Penn State Behrend's Karen Hobaugh (Kutztown/Kutztown) has been named the AMCC Tennis Player of the Week on October 2.  The freshman helped the league-leading Behrend Lions to a shut-out of conference foe Chatham.  She triumphed at #4 singles and #2 doubles to help Behrend improve to 13-0 and 5-0 in the AMCC.  Hobaugh is undefeated in both singles and doubles action this season for the blue and white.

In addition to dominating on the courts, Behrend tennis players have been racking up the conference awards as this is the third time in four weeks that a Behrend Lion has been selected as AMCC Tennis Player of the Week.

With the victory over Chatham, the blue and white have locked up their third consecutive AMCC regular season title.  Behrend is back in action on Saturday, October 6 at Bryn Mawr in a match scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
