Behrend Defeats
Roberts Wesleyan to Improve to 3-0 in Tournament
The Blue and White came out strong in the third game of the Behrend
Invitational by defeating the Roberts Wesleyan Raiders by a score of 3-0.
The set scores were 25-18, 25-20, and 25-19.
Offensively, freshman Mary Sperry (Atlantic/Conneaut Lake) led the way with 12 kills, while senior Shelia Ogden (Grove City/Grove City) put away 10 of her own. Lauren Dalton (Cochranton/Cochranton) added eight kills and Brooke Gallentine (Mt. Pleasant, PA/Southmoreland) passed out 34 assists and nine digs.
Behrend improves its mark to 5-3 overall and will play the Grove City Wolverines at 2:30 p.m.
