FastStart provides a faculty/staff mentor and an alumni mentor to each first year student participant. Faculty/staff mentors help the student connect to the college. Alumni mentors share their Penn State Behrend experience, professional knowledge, and expertise.

At the begining of the semester, students and mentors are invited to attend an orientation program. Then, throughout the semester events are held to encourage student and mentor interaction.

New Students
If you plan to be a first year student at Penn State Behrend this Fall and would like to take advantage of FastStart, complete an on-line application!
